Barangay Mayuga

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Mayuga is one of the administrative divisions of Guindulman in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mayuga had a population of 2,262. This made it the 5th largest of 19 barangays in Guindulman by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mayuga accounted for approximately 6.63% of the total population of Guindulman, which stood at 34,104 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mayuga moving from 2,448 residents to 2,262 residents, an intercensal change of -7.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mayuga as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Guindulman is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mayuga, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
