Barangay Liong

Barangay Liong is a small barangay in the municipality of Guinsiliban, located in the province of Camiguin, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Liong had a population of 1,371. This made it the 1st largest of 7 barangays in Guinsiliban by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Liong accounted for approximately 20.51% of the total population of Guinsiliban, which stood at 6,685 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Liong moving from 1,290 residents to 1,371 residents, an intercensal change of +6.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Liong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
