Barangay 1 (Pob.)

Situated in Hernani, Eastern Samar, Barangay 1 (Pob.) is one of 13 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay 1 (Pob.) had a population of 291. This made it the 12th largest of 13 barangays in Hernani by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 1 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.41% of the total population of Hernani, which stood at 8,531 in the same census year.
