Barangay Namulditan

Situated in Hingyon, Ifugao, Barangay Namulditan is one of 12 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Namulditan had a population of 1,006. This made it the 4th largest of 12 barangays in Hingyon by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Namulditan accounted for approximately 10.13% of the total population of Hingyon, which stood at 9,930 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Namulditan changed from 912 to 1,006, a shift of +10.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Hingyon. Barangay Namulditan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Hingyon is a municipality comprising 12 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Namulditan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Ifugao, which contains 176 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Namulditan ranks 91st by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
