Barangay Rivera

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Rivera is one of the administrative divisions of Ibajay in Aklan, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rivera had a population of 201. This made it the 35th largest of 35 barangays in Ibajay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rivera accounted for approximately 0.38% of the total population of Ibajay, which stood at 52,364 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rivera moving from 240 residents to 201 residents, an intercensal change of -16.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Rivera is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
