Barangay 4 Poblacion

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay 4 Poblacion is one of the administrative divisions of Igbaras in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay 4 Poblacion had a population of 1,231. This made it the 6th largest of 46 barangays in Igbaras by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 4 Poblacion accounted for approximately 3.82% of the total population of Igbaras, which stood at 32,197 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay 4 Poblacion changed from 1,254 to 1,231, a shift of -1.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Igbaras. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay 4 Poblacion as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
