Barangay Boctol

Barangay Boctol is a small barangay in the municipality of Jagna, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Boctol had a population of 1,298. This made it the 12th largest of 33 barangays in Jagna by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Boctol accounted for approximately 3.62% of the total population of Jagna, which stood at 35,832 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Boctol moving from 1,103 residents to 1,298 residents, an intercensal change of +17.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
