Barangay Guintomoyan

Situated in Jimenez, Misamis Occidental, Barangay Guintomoyan is one of 24 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Guintomoyan had a population of 612. This made it the 20th largest of 24 barangays in Jimenez by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Guintomoyan accounted for approximately 2.12% of the total population of Jimenez, which stood at 28,909 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Guintomoyan changed from 625 to 612, a shift of -2.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Jimenez. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Guintomoyan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
