Barangay Santa Teresa

Barangay Santa Teresa is a large barangay in the municipality of Jordan, located in the province of Guimaras, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Teresa had a population of 5,317. This made it the 2nd largest of 14 barangays in Jordan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Teresa accounted for approximately 13.44% of the total population of Jordan, which stood at 39,566 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santa Teresa moving from 5,208 residents to 5,317 residents, an intercensal change of +2.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Teresa as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
