Barangay Poblacion

Barangay Poblacion is a large barangay in the municipality of Kadingilan, located in the province of Bukidnon, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion had a population of 6,309. This made it the 1st largest of 17 barangays in Kadingilan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion accounted for approximately 18.70% of the total population of Kadingilan, which stood at 33,735 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion moving from 6,367 residents to 6,309 residents, an intercensal change of -0.9%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Poblacion is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Kadingilan is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Poblacion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
