Barangay Sibonga

Situated in Kadingilan, Bukidnon, Barangay Sibonga is one of 17 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sibonga had a population of 1,463. This made it the 9th largest of 17 barangays in Kadingilan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sibonga accounted for approximately 4.34% of the total population of Kadingilan, which stood at 33,735 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sibonga moving from 1,332 residents to 1,463 residents, an intercensal change of +9.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Sibonga is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
