Barangay Santo Domingo

Barangay Santo Domingo is a small barangay in the municipality of Kananga, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Domingo had a population of 583. This made it the 22nd largest of 23 barangays in Kananga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Domingo accounted for approximately 0.98% of the total population of Kananga, which stood at 59,696 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santo Domingo moving from 531 residents to 583 residents, an intercensal change of +9.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
