Barangay Toclong

Classified as a very large barangay, Barangay Toclong is one of the administrative divisions of Kawit in Cavite, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Toclong had a population of 23,649. This made it the 1st largest of 23 barangays in Kawit by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Toclong accounted for approximately 21.99% of the total population of Kawit, which stood at 107,535 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 15,134 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 23,649 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +56.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Toclong is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Kawit is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Toclong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cavite, which contains 829 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Toclong ranks 27th by 2020 population. Cavite is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.
