Barangay Cabalatan-Alang

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Cabalatan-Alang is one of the administrative divisions of Kayapa in Nueva Vizcaya, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cabalatan-Alang had a population of 207. This made it the 29th largest of 30 barangays in Kayapa by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabalatan-Alang accounted for approximately 0.78% of the total population of Kayapa, which stood at 26,469 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 181 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 207 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +14.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Cabalatan-Alang is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kayapa is a municipality comprising 30 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cabalatan-Alang, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
