Barangay Lingay

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Lingay is one of the administrative divisions of Kiangan in Ifugao, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lingay had a population of 259. This made it the 14th largest of 14 barangays in Kiangan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lingay accounted for approximately 1.46% of the total population of Kiangan, which stood at 17,691 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lingay moving from 348 residents to 259 residents, an intercensal change of -25.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Lingay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
