Barangay Lubo

Barangay Lubo forms part of Kibungan, a municipality in Benguet, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 6th largest of 7 barangays in Kibungan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lubo accounted for approximately 8.20% of the total population of Kibungan, which stood at 17,051 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,230 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,399 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lubo as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kibungan is a municipality comprising 7 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lubo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
