Barangay Salubsob

Situated in Kinoguitan, Misamis Oriental, Barangay Salubsob is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Salubsob had a population of 442. This made it the 11th largest of 15 barangays in Kinoguitan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Salubsob accounted for approximately 3.14% of the total population of Kinoguitan, which stood at 14,091 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Salubsob changed from 412 to 442, a shift of +7.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Kinoguitan. Barangay Salubsob is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kinoguitan is a municipality comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Salubsob, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
