Barangay Malobalo

Barangay Malobalo is a small barangay in the municipality of Kitaotao, located in the province of Bukidnon, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Malobalo had a population of 677. This made it the 33rd largest of 35 barangays in Kitaotao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Malobalo accounted for approximately 1.26% of the total population of Kitaotao, which stood at 53,796 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Malobalo moving from 650 residents to 677 residents, an intercensal change of +4.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Malobalo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
