Barangay Kitaan Dagat

Situated in Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur, Barangay Kitaan Dagat is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Kitaan Dagat had a population of 488. This made it the 16th largest of 18 barangays in Kumalarang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kitaan Dagat accounted for approximately 1.66% of the total population of Kumalarang, which stood at 29,479 in the same census year.
