Barangay Belmonte

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Belmonte is one of the administrative divisions of Laak in Davao De Oro, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Belmonte had a population of 1,309. This made it the 26th largest of 40 barangays in Laak by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Belmonte accounted for approximately 1.64% of the total population of Laak, which stood at 79,744 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Belmonte moving from 1,285 residents to 1,309 residents, an intercensal change of +1.9%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. Barangay Belmonte is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
