Barangay Bagong Silang I

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bagong Silang I is one of the administrative divisions of Labo in Camarines Norte, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bagong Silang I had a population of 3,285. This made it the 9th largest of 52 barangays in Labo by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagong Silang I accounted for approximately 3.01% of the total population of Labo, which stood at 109,245 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,151 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,285 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bagong Silang I as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
