Barangay Tobuan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Tobuan is one of the administrative divisions of Labrador in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tobuan had a population of 3,231. This made it the 3rd largest of 10 barangays in Labrador by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tobuan accounted for approximately 12.05% of the total population of Labrador, which stood at 26,811 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tobuan moving from 2,951 residents to 3,231 residents, an intercensal change of +9.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tobuan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Labrador is a municipality comprising 10 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tobuan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
