Barangay Pang-ot

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Pang-ot is one of the administrative divisions of Lagayan in Abra, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pang-ot had a population of 325. This made it the 5th largest of 5 barangays in Lagayan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pang-ot accounted for approximately 7.24% of the total population of Lagayan, which stood at 4,488 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 332 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 325 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.1%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pang-ot as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
