Barangay Raw-an

Barangay Raw-an is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Lala, located in the province of Lanao Del Norte, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Raw-an had a population of 2,578. This made it the 11th largest of 27 barangays in Lala by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Raw-an accounted for approximately 3.51% of the total population of Lala, which stood at 73,425 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Raw-an moving from 2,102 residents to 2,578 residents, an intercensal change of +22.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Raw-an is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
