Barangay G. B. Tan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay G. B. Tan is one of the administrative divisions of Laoang in Northern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay G. B. Tan had a population of 229. This made it the 56th largest of 56 barangays in Laoang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay G. B. Tan accounted for approximately 0.38% of the total population of Laoang, which stood at 60,607 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay G. B. Tan changed from 207 to 229, a shift of +10.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Laoang. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay G. B. Tan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
