Barangay Tigbawan (Pob.)

Situated in Lazi, Siquijor, Barangay Tigbawan (Pob.) is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tigbawan (Pob.) had a population of 1,642. This made it the 5th largest of 18 barangays in Lazi by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tigbawan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 7.30% of the total population of Lazi, which stood at 22,488 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tigbawan (Pob.) moving from 1,605 residents to 1,642 residents, an intercensal change of +2.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
