Barangay Centro Weste (Pob.)

Barangay Centro Weste (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Libertad, located in the province of Antique, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Centro Weste (Pob.) had a population of 1,164. This made it the 7th largest of 19 barangays in Libertad by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Centro Weste (Pob.) accounted for approximately 6.65% of the total population of Libertad, which stood at 17,507 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Centro Weste (Pob.) changed from 1,120 to 1,164, a shift of +3.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Libertad. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Centro Weste (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
