Barangay San Antonio (Pob.)

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Antonio (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Libjo in Dinagat Islands, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Antonio (Pob.) had a population of 2,789. This made it the 1st largest of 16 barangays in Libjo by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Antonio (Pob.) accounted for approximately 15.45% of the total population of Libjo, which stood at 18,051 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,751 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,789 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.4%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Antonio (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Libjo is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Antonio (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Dinagat Islands, which contains 100 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Antonio (Pob.) ranks 7th by 2020 population.
