Barangay Candami

Barangay Candami is a very small barangay in the municipality of Libmanan, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Candami had a population of 456. This made it the 74th largest of 75 barangays in Libmanan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Candami accounted for approximately 0.40% of the total population of Libmanan, which stood at 112,994 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Candami moving from 340 residents to 456 residents, an intercensal change of +34.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Candami as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Libmanan is a municipality comprising 75 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Candami, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Sur, which contains 1,063 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Candami ranks 1001st by 2020 population. Camarines Sur is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.
