Barangay Candato

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Candato is one of the administrative divisions of Libmanan in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Candato had a population of 1,550. This made it the 32nd largest of 75 barangays in Libmanan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Candato accounted for approximately 1.37% of the total population of Libmanan, which stood at 112,994 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Candato moving from 1,209 residents to 1,550 residents, an intercensal change of +28.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Candato as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
