Barangay Tarum

Situated in Libmanan, Camarines Sur, Barangay Tarum is one of 75 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tarum had a population of 1,059. This made it the 46th largest of 75 barangays in Libmanan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tarum accounted for approximately 0.94% of the total population of Libmanan, which stood at 112,994 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Tarum changed from 975 to 1,059, a shift of +8.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Libmanan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tarum as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
