Barangay Santa Fe

Situated in Libona, Bukidnon, Barangay Santa Fe is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Fe had a population of 2,294. This made it the 12th largest of 14 barangays in Libona by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Fe accounted for approximately 4.68% of the total population of Libona, which stood at 48,965 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santa Fe changed from 2,154 to 2,294, a shift of +6.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Libona. Barangay Santa Fe is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Libona is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Fe, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
