Barangay Jubay

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Jubay is one of the administrative divisions of Liloan in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Jubay had a population of 14,904. This made it the 5th largest of 14 barangays in Liloan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Jubay accounted for approximately 9.73% of the total population of Liloan, which stood at 153,197 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Jubay moving from 11,931 residents to 14,904 residents, an intercensal change of +24.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Jubay is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Liloan is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Jubay, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
