Barangay Zone I (Pob.)

Barangay Zone I (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Luisiana, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Zone I (Pob.) had a population of 561. This made it the 10th largest of 23 barangays in Luisiana by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Zone I (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.69% of the total population of Luisiana, which stood at 20,859 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 476 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 561 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +17.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Zone I (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Luisiana is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Zone I (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
