Barangay Calabigan

Situated in Luna, Apayao, Barangay Calabigan is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Calabigan changed from 368 to 478, a shift of +29.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Luna. Barangay Calabigan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Luna is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Calabigan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
