Barangay Liboo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Liboo is one of the administrative divisions of M'lang in Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Liboo had a population of 1,481. This made it the 27th largest of 37 barangays in M'lang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Liboo accounted for approximately 1.51% of the total population of M'lang, which stood at 98,195 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Liboo moving from 1,166 residents to 1,481 residents, an intercensal change of +27.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Liboo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

M'lang is a municipality comprising 37 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Liboo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cotabato, which contains 543 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Liboo ranks 329th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
