Barangay Nasuli

Barangay Nasuli forms part of Maasin, a municipality in Iloilo, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Nasuli had a population of 528. This made it the 35th largest of 50 barangays in Maasin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nasuli accounted for approximately 1.37% of the total population of Maasin, which stood at 38,461 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 481 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 528 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Nasuli is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Maasin is a municipality comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nasuli, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
