Barangay Napnot

Barangay Napnot is a small barangay in the municipality of Madalag, located in the province of Aklan, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Napnot had a population of 519. This made it the 15th largest of 25 barangays in Madalag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Napnot accounted for approximately 2.75% of the total population of Madalag, which stood at 18,890 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Napnot moving from 517 residents to 519 residents, an intercensal change of +0.4%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Napnot as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
