Barangay Tama

Barangay Tama forms part of Magsaysay, a municipality in Misamis Oriental, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tama had a population of 758. This made it the 18th largest of 25 barangays in Magsaysay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tama accounted for approximately 2.06% of the total population of Magsaysay, which stood at 36,803 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tama moving from 720 residents to 758 residents, an intercensal change of +5.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tama as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
