Barangay Bolaoit

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bolaoit is one of the administrative divisions of Malasiqui in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bolaoit had a population of 3,004. This made it the 9th largest of 73 barangays in Malasiqui by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bolaoit accounted for approximately 2.10% of the total population of Malasiqui, which stood at 143,094 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bolaoit moving from 2,686 residents to 3,004 residents, an intercensal change of +11.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Bolaoit is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
