Barangay Canan Norte

Barangay Canan Norte forms part of Malasiqui, a municipality in Pangasinan, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

This made it the 28th largest of 73 barangays in Malasiqui by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Canan Norte changed from 1,890 to 2,012, a shift of +6.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Malasiqui. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Canan Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
