Barangay Olea

Barangay Olea is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Malasiqui, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Olea had a population of 2,802. This made it the 11th largest of 73 barangays in Malasiqui by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Olea accounted for approximately 1.96% of the total population of Malasiqui, which stood at 143,094 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Olea moving from 2,423 residents to 2,802 residents, an intercensal change of +15.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
