Barangay Pacuan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Pacuan is one of the administrative divisions of Malasiqui in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pacuan had a population of 900. This made it the 68th largest of 73 barangays in Malasiqui by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pacuan accounted for approximately 0.63% of the total population of Malasiqui, which stood at 143,094 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pacuan moving from 743 residents to 900 residents, an intercensal change of +21.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pacuan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
