Barangay Talospatang

Barangay Talospatang is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Malasiqui, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Talospatang had a population of 3,829. This made it the 2nd largest of 73 barangays in Malasiqui by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talospatang accounted for approximately 2.68% of the total population of Malasiqui, which stood at 143,094 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Talospatang changed from 3,259 to 3,829, a shift of +17.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Malasiqui. Barangay Talospatang is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Malasiqui is a municipality comprising 73 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Talospatang, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
