Barangay Cabaluyan 2nd

Barangay Cabaluyan 2nd is a small barangay in the municipality of Mangatarem, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabaluyan 2nd had a population of 1,119. This made it the 28th largest of 82 barangays in Mangatarem by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabaluyan 2nd accounted for approximately 1.41% of the total population of Mangatarem, which stood at 79,323 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,080 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,119 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cabaluyan 2nd as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
