Barangay Talogtog

Barangay Talogtog forms part of Mangatarem, a municipality in Pangasinan, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Talogtog had a population of 681. This made it the 54th largest of 82 barangays in Mangatarem by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talogtog accounted for approximately 0.86% of the total population of Mangatarem, which stood at 79,323 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 614 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 681 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Talogtog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mangatarem is a municipality comprising 82 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Talogtog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
