Barangay Torre 1st

Barangay Torre 1st is a small barangay in the municipality of Mangatarem, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Torre 1st had a population of 600. This made it the 59th largest of 82 barangays in Mangatarem by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Torre 1st accounted for approximately 0.76% of the total population of Mangatarem, which stood at 79,323 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 560 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 600 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Torre 1st is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mangatarem is a municipality comprising 82 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Torre 1st, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Torre 1st ranks 1308th by 2020 population.
