Barangay Pantihan II

Barangay Pantihan II is a small barangay in the municipality of Maragondon, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pantihan II had a population of 1,155. This made it the 19th largest of 27 barangays in Maragondon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pantihan II accounted for approximately 2.84% of the total population of Maragondon, which stood at 40,687 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pantihan II changed from 1,291 to 1,155, a shift of -10.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Maragondon. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pantihan II as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
