Barangay Batangan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Batangan is one of the administrative divisions of Matungao in Lanao Del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Batangan had a population of 2,086. This made it the 3rd largest of 12 barangays in Matungao by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Batangan accounted for approximately 14.14% of the total population of Matungao, which stood at 14,756 in the same census year.
