Barangay Liwayway

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Liwayway is one of the administrative divisions of Mauban in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Liwayway had a population of 3,155. This made it the 10th largest of 40 barangays in Mauban by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Liwayway accounted for approximately 4.44% of the total population of Mauban, which stood at 71,081 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Liwayway moving from 2,484 residents to 3,155 residents, an intercensal change of +27.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Liwayway is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
